Hello people, so University/College could be one of the most stressful time of the year. I didn’t mean the study and getting a good mark on exams, but the financial part that could tear you down. I luckily have financial support from my parents at the current moment but don’t think it would last the entire four years and expecting soon to get OSAP (Hate). What’s good this year is that for Canadian students in Ontario, a 30% back Rebate from the Government is issued. I found this to be very useful because the rebate is $1600 x 4=$6400 but I’m only going to receive $5600 back because the first term doesn’t count. This rebate is the total of the entire four years and not each school year. I don’t think this rebate would last long because I think the Liberal Government will be removed from office, four years from now. Why I’m saying this is because our Government is broke and basically they are grabbing more of tax payers money and giving it to us. It sounds like I don’t care for cheaper tuition, but really I care for the economy and this may not be the best way to lower down our Canadian debt.
The only way to get this rebate is to apply for OSAP: If you have OSAP already, then you are automatically applied for the rebate. Ontario 30% Rebate
